Our lesson is the fastest and safest way to learn and develop solid kite skills. 80% of kitesurf is kite control so you'll need to know the basics before we can really get started!
But we know that most people learning kitesurf can't be susceptive for long time. For this reason, we have maximized the daily time to 2 hours per day. So plan for your time with us a minimum of 3 days, and we guarantee you will have fun when you kitesurf with us after a maximum of 5 days!
As part of your lesson you will be introduced to the following: selecting the correct equipment, local site orientation, the wind window, safety systems, flying power-kites, full sized 4-line and 5-line inflatable kites, set-up, launching/landing, the power zone, basic kiteboarding etiquette - all the essentials for an extreme kitesurf day!
Our kitesurf lessons are separated into the following 3 categories:
Ground Control - In this first lesson we teach you the basics of kitesurf including safety, equipment set-up, wind effects, launching and landing an kite as helper for other kiters on the beach, launching. landing and flying an smalkite. Estimated time: 2-4 hours
Water Time - For this lesson you need to be able to comfortably control the kite and launch and land. We will get you in the water bodydragging and take you right through to starting to put the board on your feet. You'll enjoy your first true taste of kiteboarding in getting up and sailing. Estimated time: 2-6 hours
Board Ride - You need to have already started to try getting up on the board before commencing this lesson. We focus on board skills for this 2 hours and we now to have you up and riding at the end of this level.
